About
A small publication about side work and the week around it
Dartfold is an independent publication that writes about side work and spare time. It is published by Dartfold, based in Brazil, with no physical office; all contact happens by email at support@dartfold.online.
The name comes from dressmaking. A dart is a fold stitched into fabric to take in what is left over, and it changes the shape of everything around it. The site uses that idea to look at extra work: what it takes in from a week, what it costs in time and effort, and where it pulls.
How topics are chosen
Topics start from questions that come up whenever extra work is discussed: how long things really take, what fees and paperwork are involved, how side work interacts with rest and with a main job. Dartfold prefers questions where published research or official sources exist, and says so plainly when they do not.
How sources are cited
Each article lists its sources at the end, with authors, year and publication. Where a finding is contested, based on small samples or limited to particular countries, the article says so in the same section. Dartfold does not publish statistics without a named source.
What Dartfold does not do
- It does not publish income figures, earnings claims or forecasts.
- It does not publish testimonials, reviews, reader stories or before-and-after accounts.
- It does not offer coaching, consultations or individual advice.
- It does not make assumptions about the person reading: their job, finances, health or plans.
How we advertise
Dartfold may run advertisements on social platforms and search engines to reach readers interested in the topics it covers. Those advertisements describe the publication and its subjects in general terms. They do not assert or imply anything about the personal circumstances of the people who see them, and the page an advertisement links to matches what the advertisement says.
Corrections
Errors can be reported to support@dartfold.online. When a correction is made, the article is updated and a short note at the end says what changed and when.
